Responsibilities
* Overseeing utility survey projects from inception to completion, guaranteeing that high standards are upheld by employing advanced surveying techniques and tools such as total stations, GPS, and Ground Penetrating Radar
* Performing comprehensive inspections and accurately documenting underground utility assets as well as manhole inspection reports
* Providing finalized utility survey reports to Project Managers and CAD Operators, in compliance with Vision Survey and industry standards
* Establishing and nurturing robust client relationships to ensure successful project execution, conducting quality assessments on onsite data and facilitating a smooth transition to final deliverables
* Maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of all surveying equipment
Requirements
* Experience in utility surveying
* A solid comprehension of industry standards and practices, with familiarity in PAS128 and TSA being crucial
* Skilled in utilising surveying technologies such as ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic location systems
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for establishing relationships with clients and managing project teams
* Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while effectively managing workload priorities
* Willingness to travel to various job sites across the country as needed
* Holder of a valid manual UK driving license
* Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related discipline are preferred
