We're hiring on behalf of a leading engineering company that specialises in advanced marine navigation and positioning systems.
This is a
hybrid role
(approx. 40% marine operations / 60% engineering) offering a unique mix of
hands-on vessel work
and
cutting-edge electronics testing
.
What you'll do:
* Operate, tow, launch, and maintain vessels for calibration and trials
* Support product testing, fault-finding, and in-house calibrations
* Work with leading navigation technology used worldwide
* Travel across the UK and Europe to support deployments
What we're looking for:
* HNC in Electronics (or equivalent) with hands-on test/engineering experience
* Skilled in diagnostic
fault-finding down to component level
* Confident using test tools: scopes, DVMs, power supplies, timer counters
* Ability to read
circuit diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical data
* Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Marine licence not essential
