We have an exciting opportunity to join our Aerodynamics Department as a Junior Model Maker. Based primarily at our Red Bull Technology facility in Milton Keynes, you’ll work alongside a talented and experienced team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the precise manufacture of wind tunnel model components, often to tight deadlines. Strong manual skills and a sharp eye for detail are key to succeeding in this position.
This position is based on a night shift schedule, and candidates must be comfortable working independently and maintaining productivity during non-standard hours.
We are looking for someone who can:
* Finish prototype components to a high standard, always aiming to enhance quality and reduce lead times.
* Apply knowledge of post-processing for SLA and SLS components to ensure accurate results.
* Utilize experience with mould making and casting techniques, contributing to high-quality model production.
* Support continuous improvement by adopting new systems, processes, and offering constructive feedback to boost departmental efficiency.
The successful candidate will have:
* Strong communicator with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes effectively.
* Highly motivated and proactive, with a positive approach to problem-solving.
* Performs well under pressure, maintaining focus and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
