Property Risk Consultant - Salary is Competitive
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Risk Consultant to join our supportive and tenacious team. This role is ideal for an experienced risk professional seeking a new challenge and wishing to advance their career with the UK’s leading insurers.
Although the role is home-based, travel to client meetings across the London & South East region is required. Flexibility on travel is essential. A full valid UK driver’s license is desirable, as a company car will be provided.
About the job:
Working with the London & Southeast Risk Management team, you will deliver technical advice, high-quality reports, and support for SME and Property Investors accounts. Your goal will be to provide first-class risk management services to support our position as a market leader.
* Produce bespoke survey reports and risk improvement recommendations, including presentations to senior client management.
* Manage and coordinate risks, handle technical referrals from brokers, clients, and colleagues, and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
* Develop external broker relationships and internal partnerships to ensure excellent customer service.
* Support service and operational improvement initiatives, share ideas, and engage with the team.
* Participate in ARMS team meetings and conference calls for the SME regional business.
Skills and experience:
* Knowledge of current risk management and loss prevention practices for Property and Business Interruption risks; liability knowledge is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, standards, and industry practices across various trades.
* Ability to analyze and interpret underwriting information for proactive risk management decisions.
* Strong presentation, customer engagement, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
