Job Description
Reporting to the Water Cost and Commercial Lead for the UK, your role as Senior Quantity Surveyor involves delivering projects with water companies or the Environment Agency, mainly in the Midlands, with opportunities in the North West of England. There may also be progression opportunities across UK water, environment, rail, or nuclear sectors.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you should have experience in pre- and post-contract management within NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC frameworks, and procurement in the UK water, environment, rail, or nuclear sectors. Your major project experience will be essential in driving efficiencies, managing supply chains, and overseeing contracts. Experience with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and/or Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI) in design and build projects is also required.

Key Responsibilities
* Managing NEC3/4 Option A, C, E ECC contracts on the client side
* Controlling budgets and valuing payments
* Forecasting actual costs and defining costs
* Maintaining productive stakeholder relationships
* Keeping commercial records and managing contractual issues
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Quantity Surveying
* Full RICS membership or a clear route to chartership
* Extensive postgraduate experience in Rail, Nuclear, Water, or Environment sectors
* Experience in line management and recruitment of Quantity Surveyors or Assistants
* Knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management
* Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card preferred
* Experience working with main contractors or joint ventures client-side
* Site presence required at least 3 days/week
* Proficiency with NEC3/4 contracts (A-C-E)
* Right to work in the UK
