Calisen is accelerating the transition to cleaner, smarter energy across the UK. We’ve looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to deliver multi‑channel marketing, brand and communications activity across the Calisen Group during a 12‑month maternity cover.
What you’ll do
* Deliver our annual marketing strategy and activity plan across multiple brands and business areas.
* Lead multi‑channel campaigns — from planning and messaging to creative development, execution and performance tracking.
* Manage website development, optimisation and content creation, using CMS tools and agency partners.
* Produce high‑quality content and assets including digital collateral, brochures, landing pages, video and events materials.
* Ensure consistency of brand, tone of voice and messaging across all marketing and communications touchpoints.
* Support policy engagement and thought leadership through targeted campaigns and issue‑based content.
* Oversee events, awards and PR calendars aligned to key industry and government priorities.
* Act as a key marketing partner across internal projects, building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Manage and track a marketing budget of around £500k.
* Line manage and develop the Group Marketing Executive.
What we’re looking for
* Significant experience in a Marketing Manager role, ideally within energy, tech, sustainability or B2B environments.
* Proven ability to design and deliver integrated, multi‑channel campaigns with measurable impact.
* Strong digital marketing capability — CMS management, website optimisation, analytics and performance reporting.
* Confident content creation skills and experience producing or commissioning high‑quality marketing assets.
* Experience managing external agencies, designers and freelancers.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
* A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* A passion for the clean energy transition and using marketing to drive positive change.
