Rotational band 6 Physiotherapy roles are available within the Acute Therapy department at the Trust. These positions are six-month rotations across Critical Care, Medicine, Care of the Elderly, Orthopaedics, and Surgery. All posts require active participation in the weekend and emergency on-call rota.

Main duties of the job
* Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence-based principles across various specialties.
* Work as an autonomous practitioner, providing assessments and treatments, maintaining records per standards.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including patients, families, and MDT.
* Provide leadership, training, and supervision to junior staff, students, and assistants.
* Deputise for the clinical lead in their absence.
* Prioritise effectively and work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.

Person Specification
Qualification
* BSc, MSc, or diploma leading to Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy; HCPC registration.
Knowledge and Understanding
* Concepts of adult rehabilitation in acute hospital settings.
* Understanding of Clinical Governance.
Experience
* Postgraduate experience in Elder rehabilitation, Neurology, Respiratory care, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Orthopaedics.
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
Skills and Abilities
* Manage own caseload with good time management.
* Strong clinical reasoning skills across core areas.
