We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Patient Services Assistant to join our Acute medical ward. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and calming environment for our patients.
This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful work and wants to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable patients and their families.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control across the ward
* Supporting patients with meals, hydration, and non-clinical comfort needs
* Assisting with preparing bed spaces and communal areas
* Engaging with patients in a kind, respectful, and person‑centred manner
* Working closely with nurses, healthcare assistants, and the wider team
* Helping create a calm and therapeutic environment for patients
