We are recruiting for a Lead Designer to be an integral part of the team: This role can will be based in either Sunderland OR Chorley depending on the distance of the individual (TBD) The primary purpose of the Lead Design Engineer role is to take ownership of all design outputs and deliverables on allocated project(s). This includes coordinating the scheme 3D model, managing equipment interfaces, and producing technical documentation such as drawings, 3D models, and manufacture packs. The Lead Design Engineer is also responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of outputs by supervising, advising, and checking the work of Design Engineers on allocated project(s).
