What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a valued member of our academy staff team.
Working in an academy office is busy and challenging. We are seeking someone who is resilient, adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills, and thrives in a child-focused environment. You will support the academy to run efficiently and ensure our children receive the best education possible. In this position, you will assist the Head Teacher and staff team with administrative support and general welfare services for children.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following personal skills and qualities:
1. Has experience working in a school environment, ideally in a school office;
2. Has English and Maths GCSE at grade C or equivalent;
3. Is competent in IT usage;
4. Has excellent oral and written communication skills;
5. Can work effectively as part of a team;
6. Is sensitive to the needs of young children;
7. Has a First Aid qualification or is willing to undertake training;
8. Is punctual, reliable, and maintains excellent attendance;
9. Understands the importance of professionalism and confidentiality;
10. Can interact well with visitors in person and on the phone;
11. Can handle the demands of a busy office and multi-task effectively.
