We’relooking for anorganised Stock Administratorto help keep things running smoothly in our timber yard.
You’ll be the go-to person forkeeping track of stock, making sure deliveries are on point, and helping everything move efficiently across the site.It’sa key role that keeps the yard ticking and helps us give customers the best possible service.
WhatYou’llBeDoing:
* Keeping stock records up to date andaccurate– timber, fixings, and all the essentials.
* Carrying out regular stock checks, auditsand sorting out any mismatches.
* Checking deliveries as they come in – making sureeverything’sthere and up to scratch.
* Working closely with the yard team to keep stock moving smoothly and on time.
* Updating inventory systems and pulling together reports when needed.
* Spotting and flagging any issues like missing items, damage, or stock errors.
* Helping plan what needs reordering and chatting with suppliers to get it sorted.
* Keeping the stock area tidy, safe, and well-organised.
* Supporting safe working practices when handling stock.
* Teaming up withlogisticsand sales to make sureeverything’srunning like clockwork.

WhatYou’llBring:
We’reafter someonewho’sconfident with stock control, inventorysystemsor warehouse work – ideally with some experience around timber and yard environments (butthat’sa bonus, nota must).You’llneed a good head for numbers, solid attention to detailand be comfortable using inventory software and Microsoft Office. Ifyou’resomeone who can stay organised, solve problemsand work well both solo and with a team,you’llfit right in.
