We are seeking to appoint a Marketing Executive to join our busy marketing team and make a positive impact in a growing and progressive business. You will be joining a company that puts the needs and wellbeing of their people first, who are inclusive and who deliver exceptional service – together.
The post is full time and will be based at our clinical site in Manchester city centre. Some Hybrid working may be considered for the right candidate.
(Travel to other MAC clinical sites for content/meetings, and remote working will be required from time to time).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The focus of this role is to support the Patient Engagement Team by using your creativity to design and implement engaging and targeted, integrated marketing campaigns to promote a wide variety of clinical trials and therapeutic areas.
The successful candidate will need to create awareness of and develop the MAC Clinical Research brand, identify and communicate with target audiences, and build and develop relationships with patients and the wider team.
This role includes working on all areas of marketing, such as social media, email, PR, advertising, event organisation, content creation, designing marketing materials, creating both written and visual content for our channels, and analysing and reporting on campaign performance. You will be responsible for writing engaging content for various purposes and working with influencers, agencies, and media organisations to push our messages out. You will need to assist with tracking and reporting, identify opportunities, and optimise campaigns. You will support the Marketing and Content Manager with any marketing tasks, including quality assurance of products, and work with the marketing team and Patient Engagement Team to achieve business KPI’s and ROI.
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Experience creating and managing organic social media campaigns and platforms, in line with performance objectives
* Experience creating and managing paid social media (Meta) and PPC (Google) campaigns, in line with performance objectives
* Experience using platforms/tools such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube and TikTok
* Demonstrate an understanding and competency in social media marketing
* Keep up to date with new digital marketing developments and drive early adoption
* Maintain an awareness of participant recruitment issues and deadlines
* Computer literacy - Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
* Have excellent organization, proofreading and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
* Experience in using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro/After Effects (or similar), Canva
* Experience designing, creating, executing and analysing email campaigns through Mailchimp (or similar)
* Knowledge of lead generation and conversion principles
* Knowledge and understanding A/B testing
* Experience creating audience segments and developing targeted campaigns that deliver a targeted message and create affinity with the MAC brand/clinical trials
* Creative storyteller, able to write compelling content
* Be innovative and creative, bring fresh ideas to the table
* Knowledge of SEO and the best practices involved in making content optimised for SERP’s
* Experience using social media automation software such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
* Ability to support junior members of the team in their tasks, and help with their training and development
DESIREABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
* Experience using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
* Experience of shooting, editing, and creating graphics for video content (Youtube, social media)
* Graphic design, and animation experience
* Knowledge and experience of Wordpress and optimising landing pages for lead generation
* Experience working with Influencers and their agents
* Experience in the planning and executing of CRM, and Email automation using Mailchimp
* Knowledge and experience of more traditional marketing such as radio, out of home and TV.
