Accordant currently manages two investment funds that are sub-advised by its sister company IDR Investment Management, LLC (“IDR”). IDR is an investment management firm with $8.5 billion in AUM that specializes in private equity real estate investments. IDR has a 14-year track record managing investments on behalf of some of the largest institutional investors in the country.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our investment team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the growth of Accordant Investments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the growth and success of our investment funds. The selected candidate will work in Independence, OH at IDR’s Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support investment decisions.
2. Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
3. Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, including market research, property research, and financial statement analysis.
4. Monitor and analyze the performance of existing investments, providing regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
5. Collaborate with IDR’s analytics and due diligence team to produce portfolio analytics.
6. Support the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for investors.
7. Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate sector.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or STEM related field.
2. 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the real estate or private equity industry.
3. Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Knowledge of real estate markets and investment principles is a plus.
