Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Autism and associated difficulties? We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join our outstanding SEN school this September.
Our school provides a supportive, nurturing environment for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of complex needs. The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with teaching staff to support students aged 4-19 in the classroom and throughout the school day.
* Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating environment tailored to individual needs.
* Support students with their learning, emotional regulation, and social development.
* Provide personal care where required with dignity and sensitivity.
* Be proactive, flexible, and responsive to the changing needs of students and the school day.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with Autism and/or in a specialist education setting.
* Is reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people with SEN.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Is comfortable with providing personal care.
* Is committed to working full time during term time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
