Location: Solihull – with flexibility to travel/relocate across the region
Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum
Pathway: Permanent, full‑time 2‑year programme, leading to an assistant level role upon completion with a salary potential of approximately £38k

Responsibilities
As a Graduate Environmental Advisor you will support environmental management and sustainability practices across various projects. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting site inspections, managing environmental risks, and promoting best practices in areas such as waste management, biodiversity, and resource efficiency.
Day‑to‑day Duties
* Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and company policies across projects.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess environmental risks and performance.
* Assist in developing and implementing environmental management plans and strategies.
* Monitor and report on environmental metrics such as waste, energy use, and resource consumption.
* Provide environmental advice and support to project teams to promote best practices and reduce environmental impacts.
* Identify and mitigate potential environmental risks, including pollution, waste disposal, and biodiversity issues.
Graduate Scheme

Qualifications
We are looking for people who will graduate in 2026 or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geography, Sustainability, Ecology, or a related discipline.

* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess environmental risks and suggest appropriate solutions.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and engage with stakeholders.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* A proactive approach, with a keen interest in promoting sustainability and environmental best practices.
* Willingness to travel to various project sites and work in a site‑based environment.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
