Job Title: Admin & Information Officer
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified Admin & Information Officer SC4 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and providing essential support to clinicians in the Haringey LD Psychiatry Team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the continuity and safety of patient care, as well as aligning with best practices across the Trust and national guidelines.
Key Responsibilities of the Admin & Information Officer SC4:
GP Letter Processing: Managing a high volume of review letters monthly.
Clinic and Calendar Management: Scheduling clinics, home visits, and professional meetings.
Trainee Induction: Conducting inductions and adapting to rotations.
Clinical Correspondence: Transcribing dictations and managing urgent communications.
Reception Duties: Supporting front-desk operations including patient check-ins and appointment bookings.
Safe Prescribing System: Maintaining secure processes for prescription handovers.
Urgent Requests: Acting as the first point of contact for mental health emergencies.
Vacancy and Rota Management: Adjusting schedules for vacancies and absences.
Caseload Oversight: Managing patient caseload, follow-ups, and referral tracking.
Data Management: Maintaining accurate records using Excel.
Electronic Records: Uploading and managing case notes and prescriptions.
CPA Coordination: Organising Care Programme Approach meetings and clinic slots.
Initial Assessments: Scheduling eligibility assessments and coordinating with other teams.
Medical Student Coordination: Arranging placements and schedules for medical students.Competitive salary
