Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional F&B Team member to join our organization in Brighton, United Kingdom. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
1. Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and hospitable manner
2. Take food and beverage orders accurately while identifying and addressing guest dietary requirements and food allergies
3. Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, quality standards, and hygiene procedures
4. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and courteously
5. Ensure proper food handling, storage, and preparation to prevent cross-contamination and allergen risks
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining areas, service stations, and equipment
7. Ensure tables and service areas are properly set, cleared, and maintained according to service standards
8. Stay knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, allergens, and special promotions
9. Follow all food safety, hygiene, health, and security regulations at all times
Qualifications
10. Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional, and hospitable demeanor
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with guests and team members
12. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced food and beverage environment
13. Strong attention to detail, particularly in food preparation, presentation, and order accuracy
14. Basic computer skills and ability to operate POS systems and kitchen-related technology
15. Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and allergen management is preferred
16. Previous experience in food and beverage service, kitchen operations, or a similar hospitality role is an asset
17. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally
18. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak service hours
19. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or hospitality training is an advantage
