Job Title: Teacher Salary: L1 Qualified Band C £25,534 prorated per year (Actual Salary £19,386 including holiday pay) Hours: hours per week Contract type: Term time, Fixed Term until July 2026 initially Start date: 2nd February or sooner if possible Location: Parkview and Redwood Primary Schools Federation Post: Teaching Assistant working with pupils with varying levels of need This post is to work as part of our happy, dedicated and hard-working Teaching Assistant team at Redwood Primary School. You will be working alongside other TAs and teachers with pupils with varying levels of need. We are looking to appoint a creative, experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who:
1. has a good understanding of how to support pupils’ learning through effective questioning and interactions;
2. is able to liaise effectively with teachers and other staff about the progress of pupils they are supporting;
3. has good positive behaviour management skills to maintain our high standards of behaviour for learning;
4. is well organised and a proactive team player who will make a positive contribution to our school and will put Redwood pupils’ happiness and well-being at the heart of every action and decision;
5. has relevant experience of working with children with SEND

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
