Job Title: Cover Supervisor – Wigan Secondary Schools Location: Across Wigan Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Flexible, Full-time or Part-time Pay: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience) Are you confident, adaptable and looking to gain experience in secondary education? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a number of well-regarded Ofsted Good and Outstanding secondary schools in Wigan. This is an ideal role for anyone considering a future in teaching or education – no formal teaching qualification is required, and full training is provided. What is a Cover Supervisor? A Cover Supervisor is responsible for supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. You won’t be expected to teach new content, but you’ll ensure students stay on task, follow the lesson plan, and maintain a positive classroom environment.
