Exciting Lead Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity in Potters Bar - Competitive Salary up to £75k Annually!
Join this leading veterinary practice where you will have the opportunity to develop and lead a small team of 2 Vets, along with a dedicated team of RVNs and CCAs. This exciting role offers a hands-on GP clinical caseload with dedicated time for leadership activities each week, supplemented with monthly meetings with the Clinical Director.

What We Are Looking For:
- A strong leader who enjoys a challenge and wants to make a significant impact at a branch clinic.
- Previous senior or lead vet experience preferred.
- Strong routine surgical skills.
- Good understanding of finances, line management, and business strategy.
- A GDP advisor or willingness to train as one is desirable.
- Ability to issue animal health certificates is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clinical delivery within the business.
- Maintain high standards of clinical delivery.
- Utilize all associates skills to maximize service provision.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive approach.
- Support recruitment, training, and mentoring to ensure clinical, financial, and operational success.
- Identify and address performance issues with empathy; implement improvement plans.
- Lead the veterinary team alongside the Clinical Director and work with the nursing team to effectively utilize veterinary surgeons and nursing teams.
