Learning Designer
Contract: 15 hours per week (approx. 2 days) from September 1st until the end of the year, and then full time from January 2026 – August 31st 2026
Day rate, remote
Our client is a globally respected professional body dedicated to advancing standards in investment management and promoting ethics, education, and professional excellence. Operating across multiple regions, the organisation plays a key role in supporting finance and investment professionals through credentialing, thought leadership, and advocacy. The environment is mission-driven, collaborative, and international, offering employees the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that shape the future of the investment profession worldwide. They are currently looking for a Learning Designer to join one of their key arms, starting on a flexible basis before ramping up to full-time from January.
September 2025 – December 2025 (Initial Phase):
* Need someone with strong experience editing and designing content in Canvas LMS (use of CidiLabs a bonus, but not essential)
* Good working knowledge of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG guidelines
* Ability to review and provide structured feedback on video content – including identifying changes, suggesting graphic/title updates, and reviewing first edits as part of a managed production process
* Comfortable adding interactive elements to pre-approved content within Canvas
* Experience with accessible PDF/document production is a bonus
January 2026 – August 2026 (Second Phase):
* Strong Learning Designer with proven experience collaborating with Content Directors to enhance learning materials, making them more interactive and accessible
* Ability to design content that aligns with sustainability and climate-related themes; familiarity with dense, exam-based material is helpful
* Confident providing Instructional Design input – suggesting improvements, accessibility considerations, and interactive enhancements
* Experience creating or editing content using H5P is highly desirable
