Commercial Property Solicitor — Position Overview:
You will run your own caseload (with support and supervision) and work across a broad range of commercial property matters, supporting a diverse client base of landlords, tenants, investors, small businesses, and developers.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
* Managing a caseload of commercial property transactions
* Handling grants and assignments of leases
* Dealing with sales and purchases of commercial property
* Managing property finance transactions and lender requirements
* Working on option agreements and development matters
* Liaising with clients, agents, solicitors and lenders
* Maintaining accurate file management and ensuring compliance
* Supporting and developing strong client relationships
* Contributing to the firm’s business development and local reputation
Requirements of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
* Solicitor or Legal Executive (1–5 years’ PQE)
* Ability to run your own caseload with Partner support
* Strong communication and IT skills
* Experience with commercial property matters (as listed above)
* Reliable, organised and confident working directly with clients
* Corporate/commercial exposure is helpful but not essential
* Must be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate before starting
