About Us:
We are a growing, multi-division business operating across the catering industry, with a hands-on and supportive working culture. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a diligent and proactive Part-Time Accounts Administartor to support our Director with day-to-day accounting operations across two companies: Co-Ordination Event Hire and Blue Planet Washing Solutions.
The Role:
This role would suit someone with a solid foundation in accounts administration, including at least one year of credit control experience and confidence using SAGE/Zero accounting software, we're transitioning from Sage online to Zero for accounts and payroll, so experience with these systems will be an advantage. You'll be handling a variety of finance tasks and playing a key role in helping us maintain strong financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
* Play an active and leading role in the transition of accounting services from Sage to Zero
* Daily credit control – chasing and managing outstanding payments
* Invoice production and data entry (2 small business)
* Conducting new customer checks – ensuring individuals prepay and companies meet solvency requirements
* Reconciling and administrating the Zero payroll function for approx. 20 employees
* Bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliation, and payroll admin
* Assisting with finance-related legal documentation and preparation
* General accounts support and admin tasks as required
Requirements:
* At least 1 year's experience in credit control
* Proficiency in SAGE/Zero accounting software
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Clear and confident communication skills
* Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
* Hybrid working available after initial period, flexible hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £29,250.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 per week
