Our Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) focuses on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We are looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team.
The PMO shapes and optimises project Portfolios to ensure strategic alignment, enhance decision-making, and provide evidence to manage risk across change and transformation. This role offers hands-on experience in change and transformation with opportunities for development and strong peer support.
You will be an important part of our PMO, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, helping to set standards for benefits and value management and to embed them. You will help our teams identify, value, and validate their project benefits.
The Team
You will join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO), part of the Transformation Team within the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance (STA) directorate. The PMO supports change, transformation, and continuous improvement across the business. STA fosters inclusive, supportive cultures and uses evidence and innovation to influence policy and delivery.
Experience/skills Required
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills; able to explain complex analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and actively encourage consideration of diversity issues in work.
