About the Role
As a Sales Account Manager within our Tool Hire division, you’ll focus on managing and developing accounts across your territory — becoming a trusted expert in a diverse portfolio of solutions. By visiting customers every day, you’ll build strong relationships, identify opportunities, and ensure every interaction has meaningful impact.

What You'll do
1. Visiting customers every day, using your strong organisational skills to stay effective and visible across your territory. You’ll engage with current, new, and returning customers to build strong relationships, generate opportunities, and drive daily sales activity.
2. Supporting at customer events, demonstrating kit, and driving engagement. You’ll stay informed on products and market trends to bring a positive, solution focused mindset to every customer interaction.
3. Planning your pipeline proactively, combining proven approaches with creative thinking to uncover new opportunities — all supported by our advanced tools, systems, and training.
What You’ll Bring
4. Proven sales experience in a fast paced, target driven environment, with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
5. Construction or tooling knowledge gained in a similar role, or hands on trade experience combined with sales experience.
6. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently, managing your time and priorities effectively.
7. Resilience and adaptability, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels—from Site Operators to Managing Directors.
8. A solution-oriented approach, with the ability to uncover customer pain points and present tailored, value-driven solutions.
9. A natural sense of drive, curiosity, and self-motivation to succeed, learn, and grow.
10. Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
