Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Burnley
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £14.50 - £15 per hour
Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025
Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals, small groups, and whole classes.
* Lead planned learning activities under the guidance of teachers.
* Cover classes in the teacher's absence, ensuring continuity of learning.
* Provide targeted interventions to help pupils make progress.
* Support the wider school community and contribute to the life of the school.
About You
* Holds HLTA status (or equivalent qualification/experience).
* Has proven experience working with primary-aged children.
* Can demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Is adaptable, resilient, and committed to helping every child achieve their best.
* Works well as part of a team and can use their initiative when required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
