Hire Desk Manager
Monday to Friday | Day Shift
Up to £40,000 per annum
I am currently working with a Powered Access & Plant Hire company based in Oxfordshire that is looking to appoint a Hire Desk Controller to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hire Desk Controller who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing incoming hire enquiries via telephone, email and online ordering systems
* Checking, updating and monitoring equipment availability
* Coordinating with engineering and transport teams to ensure equipment is prepared and delivered on schedule
* Providing professional and helpful support to customers and colleagues
* Maintaining accurate records and system updates
About You
* Previous experience within Plant or Powered Access, sector
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks
