Job details

JOB TITLE: New Business Development Manager

BASE LOCATION: Bellshill (hybrid)

SALARY: Base Salary up to £50K Depending on skills and experience + Commission

WORKING PATTERN: Permanent | Full-time (35 hours per week)


Role purpose

As a New Business Development Manager, you will be accountable for securing new clients and revenue growth across Kick ICT’s managed services, cloud, networking, security, and infrastructure portfolio. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to deliver modern, secure, and scalable technology solutions that enable customers to achieve their strategic goals. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping long-term partnerships and positioning Kick ICT as the provider of choice for technical services and infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

* Generate new business opportunities across IT managed services, cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, cyber security, networking, and end-user support services.
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, referrals, and working with marketing-led campaigns.
* Conduct needs analysis to identify client challenges and align solutions to Kick ICT’s infrastructure and services portfolio.
* Collaborate with solution architects, pre-sales and delivery teams to design and present tailored proposals.
* Keep up to date with emerging technologies, vendor partner updates and market dynamics to strengthen client conversations.
* Consistently achieve new business revenue targets and performance KPIs.
* Carry out presentations to prospective customers as required to promote Kick ICT’s product stack and services.
* Review internal sales data to suggest actions to improve sales performance and find opportunities for growth.
* Review internal and external data to identify potential new routes to market.
* Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand Kick ICT’s market presence.
* Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity levels.


What do I need?

* Proven success in new business sales and ability to consistently achieve targets within IT managed services, infrastructure or technical services.
* Strong knowledge of cloud services (Azure, M365), networking, and cyber security solutions.
* Excellent relationship-building, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
* Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in clear business terms to C-level stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities.
* Self-motivated, ambitious and target-focused with resilience to succeed in a competitive market.
