Caron Group is a family of care homes across mid and south Wales. We have been operating in the care sector for twenty-four years and specialise in residential, nursing and dementia care for older people. We are currently undergoing an exciting chapter in our growth and are looking for dedicated individuals to join us on this journey.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant with a strong background in legal administration to provide comprehensive executive support to a family of Directors. This pivotal role requires a proactive and highly organised professional to manage the Directors’ day-to-day affairs efficiently, ensuring optimal time management. Some travel may be required, including occasional visits to Wales.

The Executive Assistant will handle a broad range of responsibilities, including high-level communication, diary and email management, and drafting and reviewing corporate and legal documents. The role also involves coordinating company events and serving as the primary liaison between the Directors and internal/external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling confidential legal documents, liaising with legal teams and ensuring regulatory compliance. The post holder will be expected to exercise sound judgment, demonstrate discretion, and take initiative, particularly in the absence of the Directors.

Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive):

* Email inbox and diary management for Directors, ensuring smooth scheduling and prioritisation
* Undertaking senior level administrative and secretarial tasks
* Drafting executive correspondence for internal / external distribution
* Assisting with legal documentation, including reading and reviewing contracts and maintaining compliance records
* Drafting, proofreading, and formatting executive-level correspondence, reports, and presentations
* Overseeing business projects and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
* Taking calls and responding on behalf of the Directors/ re-directing as appropriate
* Greeting visitors with professionalism and ensuring a welcoming environment
* Organising meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
* Booking travel, arranging accommodation, and coordinating event logistics
* Arranging dinners, company events and public appearances
* Coordinating personal appointments and household administration.

Skills / Experience:

* Relevant professional experience in a previous EA / PA role supporting senior executives
* Legal experience or familiarity with legal documentation and procedures (highly desirable)
* Strong drafting and written communication skills, with particular emphasis on correspondence
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to review legal documents and contracts
* Educated to degree level (preferable)
* Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
* Ability to communicate with senior management and executives
* Effective communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
* Exceptional organisation, workload and diary management skills
* Flexible approach and positive, can-do attitude
* Professional demeanour, presentation and friendly disposition
* A logical and pragmatic approach and aptitude for decision making and problem solving
* Ability to act independently and anticipate the Directors’ needs
* Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
* Ability to build relationships at all levels of the business and with external contacts
* Thorough attention to detail
* Proficient in use of full Microsoft Office suite
* An understanding of and adherence to Caron Group’s ethos
* Open to occasional travel, including occasional visits to Wales

Package:

* Salary – £45,000 – 50,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Required Criteria

* Educated to degree level (preferable)
* A full UK Driver's Licence
