Job Title: Asbestos Bid Manager

Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Bid Manager through to Lead Asbestos Bid Manager
Profile: A UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy with long-standing clients across the Healthcare, High security, local Authority, Educational and Retail sector. They are now seeking to employ an organised and commercial driven Asbestos Bid Manager based in and around the Manchester area. The successful candidate will have experience working within the Asbestos industry providing clients with tenders and PQQ’s, overseeing a team of bid writers and ensuring that the bidding process is running smoothly, and all work is being completed within agreed timeframe.

Experience & Qualifications
* Will have experience working within the Asbestos industry, working within a bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project management role.
* Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines in relation to asbestos.
* Will have previous experience working within a bid writing / management role.
* Will have excellent organisational skills, as well as communication skills written and verbal.
The Role
* Managing bid input from stake holders, sales, marketing finance, technical teams and legal.
* Ensuring that the bid process is running smoothly and ensuring the bid writers are working efficiently.
* Carrying out completion of written proposals.
* Arranging post bid reviews and getting feedback from clients.
* Managing various sites, ensuring all work is being carried out efficiently.
* Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
