Job Introduction

Location:
Hatfield, AL10 8XB
Rate of Pay:
£35,000 - £37,000 per annum
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing delicious food
2. Managing key aspects of the kitchen, including Health & Safety, and Training & Development
3. Cooking for up to 100 people per day, including classic and street food meals
4. Managing and working alongside a kitchen supervisor
5. Receiving and managing food deliveries and storage
6. Developing a great working relationship with clients, team, and customers to ensure the catering contract grows positively
7. Ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, with proper storage, handling, and preparation according to regulations
8. Developing and implementing seasonal menus considering customer preferences, dietary needs, and cost-effectiveness
9. Managing the kitchen budget, controlling food costs, and monitoring stock levels
10. Addressing kitchen issues promptly and implementing solutions for smooth operations
Ideal Candidate
Should have a background in contract catering.
