CAD Technician (Highway Design)

We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in Birmingham who are looking to recruit a CAD Technician focused on Highway Design, to support the deliver of highway and transport infrastructure projects across both the public and private sectors.
The Role
* Assisting in the design and delivery of highway schemes to local and national standards
* Producing drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentation
* Supporting senior engineers with project delivery, including programme and financial reporting
* Preparing reports, schedules and cost estimates
* Working collaboratively with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders
* Managing assigned tasks to agreed budgets and deadlines
About You
* Previous experience in a highway or transport engineering environment
* Strong working knowledge of CAD software
* Familiarity with UK highway standards and design processes
* Organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple tasks
* A team player with good communication skills
