The Senior Communications Officer position is a 12 months fixed term opportunity, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between core working hours, hybrid working model.
* Excellent copywriting skills, ensuring engaging and accurate content is produced for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms and publications.
* Work across the organisation to source and create content for a variety of platforms that promotes the full range of gtd healthcares services.
* Utilising Canva to design content such as posters and graphics for internal and external audiences including social media platforms.
* Using content management systems to update and maintain the staff extranet and website.
* Providing communications advice and support to staff, including translating complex information into content that is clear and appropriate for different audiences.
* Leading on (with support from the Head of Corporate Affairs and wider team) the management of the organisations events.
* Supporting the Head of Corporate Affairs in managing the organisations brand and corporate identity.
* Supporting the Head of Corporate Affairs to shape the positive perception of the organisation.
* Supporting the Head of Corporate Affairs to monitor, analyse and evaluate the outcomes of corporate communications activity.
* Providing the wider team with corporate governance support, as required.
* An interest in and monitoring local and national health media coverage.
* Supporting relationships with key stakeholders such as NHS partner providers and local authorities.
