You’ll support children, families and adults to make positive lifestyle changes by giving clear, practical wellbeing advice that helps them live healthier lives.
Your work will reduce health inequalities by reaching people who need support the most.
You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive wellbeing team who deliver a wide range of community programmes.
You’ll work in different settings, including schools, early years groups and local venues, offering information, guidance and activities that help people build confidence and long‑term healthy habits.
What you’ll do
* Deliver healthy lifestyle sessions, including nutrition, physical activity and family‑based programmes
* Use motivational interviewing and coaching techniques to help people plan and achieve personal goals
* Work with partners and community groups to promote local activities and support
* Provide signposting, brief interventions and follow‑up support tailored to individual needs
* Contribute to outreach work, including use of the wellbeing service outreach vehicle
What we’re looking for
* Good communication skills and the ability to build trust with people from all backgrounds
* Experience supporting individuals or groups in community settings
* Confidence planning and delivering activities or training, or willingness to learn
* Understanding of healthy lifestyles and behaviour change approaches
* Ability to travel as needed for community work
