GSL Education are seeking a committed and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA who can deliver high-quality support, lead learning activities, and contribute to pupils’ academic and personal development.
Role Responsibilities of Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
* Lead small-group interventions and deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
* Support teaching staff in creating engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning activities.
* Provide targeted support to pupils with varying needs to help raise attainment and confidence.
* Assist with lesson planning, marking, and behaviour management where required.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and SEN teams to ensure the best outcomes for all learners.
What You’ll Bring as Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
* HLTA status or relevant Level 4 qualification.
* Previous experience supporting teaching and learning within a school setting.
* Confidence in leading lessons and managing classroom routines.
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
