Kennedys is looking for an experienced Claims Handler with a strong background in Professional Indemnity to join our growing claims team. This is an excellent opportunity to work remotely with a leading global law firm, supporting high-quality claims handling services for insurer and corporate clients.
Responsibilities
* Handle Professional Indemnity claims from first notification through to settlement
* Assess coverage, liability, and quantum issues
* Liaise with insurers, brokers, solicitors, and insured parties
* Provide clear reporting, recommendations, and reserve updates
* Ensure claims are managed in line with regulatory requirements and service standards
* Maintain accurate documentation and file management on claims systems
* Support negotiations and dispute resolution where required
About You
* Proven experience in Professional Indemnity claims handling
* Strong knowledge of UK insurance claims processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* The ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience working within a legal or insurer-focused setting (desirable)
