Position Overview
Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow (F2-ST2 grade) to support commercial clinical trial delivery across the Cheshire and Merseyside region.
Post holders will be based within the 26‑beded NIHR Clinical Research Facility in the Royal Liverpool Hospitals site, and will work across the Trust on various trials depending upon activity.
The Clinical Research Facility is a 24/7 facility equipped to deliver early phase clinical trials and support academic and translational studies. It is one of only two NHS CRFs in England to hold MHRA Phase I Accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support commercial clinical trial delivery across the region.
* Work on various trials across the Trust, collaborating with different sites.
* Coordinate between the Clinical Research Facility and trial sites.
* Provide operational support for early phase and translational studies.
* Be based initially in the CRF but remain mobile to support activity wherever it takes place.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience or interest in commercial clinical studies desirable.
* Familiarity with clinical trial operations and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
Location & Working Conditions
Based at the 26‑beded NIHR Clinical Research Facility in Royal Liverpool Hospitals, with duties across multiple Trust sites.
