Job Description: we areseekingan enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join ourclientsteamin Oldham. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of science and preparing learners for GCSE examinations. Key Responsibilities Experience withAdditional/SEN Needs Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or combined science). Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations, ensuring strong academic progress. Assess, monitor, and record student achievement in line with school policies. Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students, includinghigh-achievers, those with special educational needs (SEN), and studentsrequiringextra support. Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning. Use a variety of teaching strategies, including practical experiments and digital tools, to enhance learning. Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents and colleagues. Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and school events. Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of teaching resources within the science department. Support extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, STEM events, or competitions. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Science Education). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong understanding of the secondary science curriculum and GCSE assessment requirements. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students and foster a love of science. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
