JOB ROLE: Deputy Care Manager
LOCATION: Liverpool Supported Living Services
HOURS: 37.5 per week (21.5 hours on supporting staff, 16 hours compliance)
REQUIREMENTS: Full UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle – essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Supported Living Manager in overall facility management, including staff management and administrative tasks.
* Assist with recruitment, training, and supervision of care staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
* Oversee assessment, care planning, and implementation of care plans for people we support, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met.
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including files, staff rosters, and financial documents.
* Act as a point of contact for the people we support, families, and external stakeholders, addressing concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies, promoting a safe and supportive environment for the people we support and staff.
* Participate in regular meetings and training sessions, contributing to the continuous professional development of the team.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Deputy Manager (or similar strong leadership role within supported living, care, or comparable setting).
* A relevant qualification in health or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Diploma in Health and Social Care).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
* Experience managing, motivating, and supporting staff teams.
* A commitment to delivering high standards of person‑centred care.
* Good knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice.
