Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full‑time hybrid role.
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
* Design and implement largescale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency scalability and observability
* Define cloud native strategies and architectures for enterprise applications
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Create technical design specifications reference architectures and reusable patterns
* Drive adoption of DevOps practices CICD pipelines and automation across teamsLead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standards lifecycle
* Databases Strong expertise in PostgreSQL plus experience with NoSQL DynamoDB Document DB
* Infrastructure as Code Handson experience with Terraform GitLab CICD
* Microservices Containers Deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and containerized solutions
* DevOps Tools Jenkins GitLab and integration with various CICD tools
* Application Design APIfirst and event driven architectures and prior handson experience with Kafka ecosystem
* Observability Monitoring Familiarity with tools for logging metrics and tracing specially ELK and observe tools
Your Skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication for simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
* Ability to articulate technical solutions to business leaders and influence decision-making
* Proven experience working with global distributed teams in enterprise environments
Additional Requirements
* Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
* Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA Confluence for project tracking and documentation
* Ability to own and drive projects end‑to‑end in an Agile environment
* Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding
* Understanding of financial services domain especially credit cards
* Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate preferred
