Support Worker for a Young Person - Full-Time @ £11.44/hr in Billingham - TS23
We are looking for a reliable & organized individual to join an established team providing support to a young lady with autism & learning difficulties. This is intended as a long-term appointment to build confidence and independence for the future.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting our client to and from her day service. The afternoon shift will be to collect her from the day centre and return home, providing support until family members return home.
Weekly Hours of Work:
1. Monday: 8.30 to 10 am, 3 pm to 4.30 pm
2. Tuesday: 8.30 to 10 am, 3.30 pm to 5 pm
3. Wednesday: 8.30 to 10 am
4. Thursday: 8.30 to 10 am, 3.30 pm to 5 pm
5. Friday: 8.30 to 10 am, 3 pm to 4.30 pm
Note: These times are not flexible, due to the opening times of the day centres.
Requirements:
* Driver’s licence and own transport are essential.
* An enhanced DBS will be required. The cost of this will be met by the employer.
