Robert Half is proud to be exclusively partnered with a global business in Cambridge that requires an Accounts Assistant on an interim basis for 6-12 months to cover maternity leave, with the potential for a permanent position thereafter. This role starts immediately and offers flexible hybrid working: 3 days in-office and 2 days remote per week.
Daily Responsibilities
1. Transactional invoicing - Accounts Payable/Receivable and bank reconciliations on an international basis
2. Preparation of two streamlined management accounts
3. Preparation of actuals vs. budget reporting
4. Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
5. Reconciliation of supplier statements
6. Posting of bank payments
7. Fixed Asset appreciation
8. Forecast upcoming payments in treasury
9. Manage internal payroll end-to-end
Experience Required
1. Managing finance responsibilities in an SME environment
2. Experience supporting month-end management accounts and payroll
3. Immediate availability or short-term notice period
