Location: Church Stretton

Salary: £22,932 per annum based on 35 hours per week

What does a day in the life of a Shop Assistant involve?
* Assisting the shop manager to run a customer-focused shop that is the 'window of the British Red Cross' on the high street.
* Helping to create a brilliant shopping environment and provide excellent customer service in store.
* Working confidently on the shop floor as the first point of contact for customers, operating the till, and creating displays.
* Sorting stock and preparing items for display behind the scenes.
What does it take to be a successful Shop Assistant?
* Previous experience in retail and confidence with handling money.
* Strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
* A commercial mindset with the ability to meet targets.
* Ability to anticipate and meet customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
