C# Developer - Generative AI start-up
Hybrid (UK-based, with travel to London twice a month)
£50,000 – £70,000
We’re working with a hugely impressive generative AI start-up that’s already partnering with some of the biggest household names in the US. They’re highly profitable and growing steadily, and now they’re looking for a C# Developer to join their tight-knit tech team.
About the Company
This is a UK-based business building a creative insights platform powered by generative AI. Their tools help major brands in consumer goods, healthcare, and tech make faster, smarter decisions. The stack is fully cloud-based (Azure), and while there’s a front end built in Blazor, the bulk of the work happens behind the scenes in APIs, data workflows, and integrations.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be working across the Microsoft stack - mostly in C#, Azure, and Entity Framework with some exposure to Blazor on the UI side.
Most of the role is backend-focused, and there’s a big emphasis on writing clean, reliable code that performs well at scale.
This is a great opportunity to explore, research, and implement modern AI tools as part of your day-to-day work. That said, the team is looking for someone with a solid grounding in C#, someone who hasn’t relied solely on AI to learn how to code, and who understands the fundamentals well enough to know when AI is helping and when it’s getting in the way.
What They’re Looking For
* Solid experience with C#, Azure, and Entity Framework
* Some familiarity with Blazor (nice to have, not a deal breaker)
* Comfortable writing and debugging code without relying on AI tools
* Thoughtful about when and how to use AI to speed up development
* Experience with APIs, especially around performance and scalability
* Happy working remotely, but proactive in staying connected with the team
* Based in the UK and able to get to London a couple of times a month
Why This Role?
* You’ll be joining a profitable, product-first start-up that’s building something genuinely useful
* You’ll work with a friendly, capable team that values clean code and real-world impact
* There’s a healthy balance of autonomy, flexibility, and support
* You’ll get to work on tech that’s used by major global brands
Interview Process
Two stages: a remote call with the team, followed by a short in-person technical test in London.
