Plant Operator (Landfill) Salary – £12.69 per hour Hours – 45 hours per week, 07.45am to 5.15pm Location – Hill & Moor Landfill, Piddle Brook Lane, Wyre Piddle, WR10 2LW
As a Plant Operator (Landfill) at FCC Environment, you will play a key role in the safe and effective handling of waste at our Hill and Moor Landfill and Compost Site. You will be expected to operate plant machinery in accordance with safety standards and support overall site operations.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
· Safely operate machinery and equipment according to procedures
· Maintain accurate site and operational records
· Carry out monitoring regimes and comply with waste acceptance procedures
· Conduct daily machinery safety checks and report defects
· Support site safety compliance and enforcement of site rules
· Ensure only permitted waste is processed and maintain site housekeeping
· Wear and maintain company uniform and protective gear
· Undertake other related duties as required
What are we looking for?
· Experience and/or qualification in operating heavy plant machinery (desirable)
· Understanding of landfill operations and waste management regulations
· A responsible, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work unsupervised
· Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
