This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an exceptional opportunity to nurture musical talent and instil a lifelong love of music in young learners. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' musical appreciation, performance skills, and theoretical understanding. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support individual development. Lead and contribute to school ensembles, choirs, and musical productions, creating enriching extracurricular opportunities for students. Collaborate with colleagues within the Music department and wider school community to enhance the music program and promote a vibrant musical culture. Qualifications and Experience A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level. Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres. A strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices.
