The Role
As a Digital Account Manager, you'll act as the primary client liaison, managing a diverse range of digital marketing accounts. You'll work collaboratively with internal specialists across SEO, PPC, CRO, web development, and online advertising to translate client goals into effective campaigns.
Your role is to ensuring projects run smoothly from strategy development through to final delivery on time, within budget, and with strong performance.
This position requires strong communication skills, commercial insight, and solid technical understanding of digital marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain trusted relationships as the go-to contact for your client portfolio
* Plan, brief, and coordinate integrated digital campaigns across multiple channels
* Translate client objectives into precise briefs for internal teams including SEO, PPC, web dev, and conversion optimisation
* Manage campaigns end-to-end, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and KPIs are met and reported on
* Regularly prepare and present strategic insights, performance reports, and proposals to clients
* Identify opportunities for account growth and support upselling of additional services
* Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues, handle client queries, and optimise campaign results
* Assist leadership with forecasting and strategic account planning
* Stay updated on latest industry trends and digital innovations to proactively advise clients
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing client accounts within UK digital marketing agencies
* Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, conversion optimisation, marketing automation, and web development basics
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
* Ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently
* Commercially aware, focused on client satisfaction and retention
* Experienced in analysing campaign performance using tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and SEO platforms
* Self-motivated and collaborative team player
Desirable
* Familiarity with project management software (e.g. ClickUp)
* Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress
* Knowledge of CRM systems like HubSpot
