What you’ll do:
* Leading a team to inspect, test, and commission submarine systems, ensuring safety and performance.
* Designing and authorising safe isolations for intrusive work on submarine systems.
* Researching and approving technical documentation to support commissioning activities.
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, engineering quality, and nuclear standards.
* Providing leadership, mentoring, and line management to Commissioning Engineers.
* Strong knowledge of commissioning principles and isolation methodologies.
* Experience with submarine operations or maintenance.
* Extensive background in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Constructive/Naval Architecture).
* Proficiency in interpreting technical system drawings and documentation.
* Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
