Food and Beverage Assistant
Location: Melton. Ufford Park Resort - Woodbridge - IP12 1QW.
Hours: Full time / Part time.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food and Beverage Assistant (F&B) to join our F&B Team. The successful applicant will assist in providing a warm, friendly and efficient food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained at all times in line with our guest expectations, whilst maintaining maximum revenue and guest expectations.
About The Role
Roles and Responsibilities
* Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests
* Assist in the set-up, preparation, and provide service duties for restaurants/functions/conferences as required
* Ensure guests are greeted, seated and provided with menus promptly
* Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and queries; deliver exceptional service at all times
* Ensure Food and Beverage areas are ready for service and left ready for the next shift
* Familiarise yourself with menus and information about the food and beverage offering to answer guest questions
* Take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately
* Deliver orders efficiently and safely in line with guest expectations while maintaining a high level of service
* Set up, clear and promptly service tables to seat guests in a timely manner
* Maintain high standards of food safety, allergens and hygiene
* Keep front of house and guest areas clean and well presented; assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties as required
* Handle guest comments kindly and efficiently; report complaints and positive feedback to management
* Carry out cash, charge, float and till procedures in line with agreed procedures
* Prepare back-of-house service points for expected numbers for meals as necessary
* Clean and maintain equipment, glassware, crockery and cutlery
* Maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene, including a clean uniform
