37 hours per week term time only + INSET days
and an additional 5 days to be worked as required
Hours of work between 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Thursday (8.30am- 4.00pm on Friday)
Full time equivalent starting salary £28,666
(actual pro rata salary £25,553 gross per annum)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Student Support Manager to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a more experienced pastoral worker or someone who is looking to take their first steps into the profession. Applicants should be passionate about supporting children, have patience, resilience and determination and a desire to support West Kent’s children to flourish and achieve their ‘Pure Potential’.
Responsibilities may vary but will include:
1. Maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere that supports all students to actively engage with learning and make positive progress
2. Supporting students with social, emotional and health issues
3. Liaising across the Hillview Community specifically parents, teachers and other members of the Student Support Team
Ideally, you will have experience of working with young people and/or within care/social care sectors.
